Handmade Arcade Spring Virtual Marketplace 2021 Terms and Conditions
Handmade Arcade is a juried event. Vendors who fulfill Handmade Arcade's application requirements and are juried and accepted into Handmade Arcade will thereafter be known as "Accepted Makers."
Accepted Vendors must pay vendor space and any additional fees by MARCH 31, 2020. NO EXCEPTIONS. Accepted Makers forfeit their vendor space at Handmade Arcade to a waitlisted applicant if payment is not received by the due date.
Accepted Makers who are unable to participate in the event must notify Handmade Arcade as soon as possible. If Accepted Makers cannot participate in the event and notify Handmade Arcade by the date stated in the acceptance email, the vendor space fee will be refunded. Any requests for a refund, no matter what the reason, will not be refunded after this date. Application fees are nonrefundable for any reason.
Handmade Arcade and Handmade Arcade representatives and agents make no guarantees of any sort to Accepted Vendors, including guarantees of Accepted Vendors' profit, sales, business, promotion, or advertisement opportunities.
Accepted Vendors may only sell, promote or display original work as shown or described in their Handmade Arcade application.
Accepted Vendors are responsible for managing their e-commerce sales, inquiries, product shipping, returns, and refunds.
Accepted Vendors are solely responsible for processing sales, shipping orders, handling returns, and refunds.
All customer service matters are the sole responsibility of the Accepted Vendor. Please keep in mind that any reports to Handmade Arcade after the virtual marketplace ends about a negative customer service experience might impact a vendor's chance of participating in future Handmade Arcade events.
Accepted Vendors who change their business or personal name, website, contact information, or any other information submitted in the Handmade Arcade application must contact Handmade Arcade with updated information no later than TEN days before the date of the event.
Accepted Makers may not sell merchandise containing the words "Handmade Arcade" or "Handmade Arcade: The Cutting Edge of Craft" or depicting Handmade Arcade or Handmade Arcade logos, graphics, slogans, or signage -- unless authorized explicitly by Handmade Arcade.
Accepted Makers are expected to sell products that are handmade, hand-crafted, or represent the maker's personal creation. Mass-produced merchandise is prohibited at all Handmade Arcade events.
Accepted Makers are solely responsible for collecting and paying their taxes (all applicable city, county, state, federal sales, and other taxes), licenses, personal and business liabilities, and insurance.
Handmade Arcade reserves the right to reject any application for any reason whatsoever.
Accepted Makers agree to the following:
I have read and agreed to all of the specified terms and conditions described outlined in the Handmade Arcade application for its spring event.
I hereby release, forever discharge, and hold harmless Handmade Arcade actions, suits, damages, or claims whatsoever arising from any loss or damage to any property of mine while in the possession or supervision of Handmade Arcade, its agents, representatives, or employees and hereby consent to the enforcement of all rules and regulations of the Event.
I understand that failure to comply with guidelines and policies laid out may result in expulsion from this year's Handmade and/or future Handmade Arcade events.
I understand that failure to comply with guidelines and policies may result in me being immediately removed from the event by Handmade Arcade officials.
I understand and agree that images submitted for jurying are representative of the work to be included in the booth and that the Handmade Arcade reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to advise the artist of any work that does not meet the standards set forth and that such work will be immediately removed upon request by Handmade Arcade officials.
I understand that only one entry per company/artist is permitted and that duplicate applications in different categories will be immediately rejected in both categories.
I consider this application a commitment to show and agree to abide by the refund policy outlined in this prospectus.
